I talked with a co-worker about the amount of money that is needlessly spent at a wedding. She and I both agreed that if a bride came to a wedding planner first and talked over a sensible budget and allocation of funds, brides and grooms would have much grander weddings and more happier memories.

Cynthia has been in the wedding business for over 30 years. She is a Professional Master Wedding Planner, AAWP Certified. She also owns Special Events & cynwhd b. designs, a full scale event and design company. In addition to weddings and events, Cynthia also produces wedding shows all across Iowa. She is also a consultant for Iowa businesses, an avid blogger for the Des Moines Register and MySpace as well as a philanthropist for non-profits of her time and talent.
